Fine example of a royal navy officers sword. Sword itself is in pristine condition with nicely detailed etching, with the Solingen maker mark. Knot is also in fine condition with no fraying at all. The scabbard has a couple of slight imperfections, of which do not distract from its appearance. The usual minor small dents in the brass and the stitching to hold the throat brass fitting is absent.
