Scarce cased brass center 1st class iron cross by CE Junker. L/12. Brass has been attributed to the kriegsmarine and are quit uncommon. Wear to the high points reveals the brass base.  Wonderful appearance on both front and back of award. The case is in good condition with proper construction and complete.
